2D to 3D: Blender

The goal of this project was to transform 2D concept sketches into a fully realized 3D head model using Blender. I began by creating two initial sketch mockups, which I then scanned and imported into Blender as reference images. From there, I used the sketches to guide the sculpting process—focusing on developing key facial features such as the head shape, nose, and overall structure. This project was an exploration of my ability to bring a character to life from scratch, using my own original drawings as the foundation for the entire modeling process. Looking ahead, my next goal is to start building 3D environments. I want to experiment with UV unwrapping and environment modeling to create immersive scenes and backgrounds, experimenting with layout, lighting, and atmosphere to tell a story through space and setting.
